Cheryl loves sharing the wisdom of Yoga and helping people heal and renew through yoga & meditation. She has been practicing yoga and meditation since 1974, started teaching yoga and self-care in 1999, and has been a Nationally Registered Yoga Teacher through The Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour level since 2002.
After years of study with Rod Stryker; Cheryl is a ParaYoga Level II Certified teacher. She is the first and senior-most ParaYoga teacher in the Pacific NW and assistant to YogaRupa Rod Stryker; one of the most well known and respected teachers of Yoga and Meditation in the world and founder of the ParaYoga style of yoga.
ParaYoga weaves together seamlessly all the teachings and ancient sciences of yoga as a whole in order for each individual to experience and reach the their highest potential in life, here and now in this modern world.
A life-long interest and inquiry of the body, mind and spirit; how they function, heal, connect and disconnect on gross and subtle levels has fed a constant and fearless study of self and others.
It is this endless source of information and potential that she shares through teaching yoga and meditation.
